ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Marketing Solutions will support the company's goals through a range of consulting, sales and analytic functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and selling our unique analysis and research services, leveraging comScore core capabilities to address clients' strategic and tactical marketing challenges. This Director will:
Uncover and understand the needs and challenges of our clients; address these through business analysis, recommendations and ongoing consultation based on our unique information services and ability to assess markets, customers, competitors and prospects
Build comScore's revenues through services that deliver a high return on our clients' investments in our solutions, ultimately achieving or exceeding an annual business plan
Manage, lead, mentor and energize more junior analysts and managers. Conduct performance reviews and participate in the recruitment of team members
Identify prospective clients and develop comScore business with those firms
Contribute to the design and development of new analytical and consulting capabilities
Communicate project objectives to client service, product management and other internal teams
Exemplify comScore's tradition of analytical and client service excellence and industry leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of bachelor's degree and 5-8 years' professional experience, or advanced degree and 4+ years' professional experience
A proven track record of success in business development, client service, sales and strategic account development a must
A high intellect individual who combines analytical excellence, razor-sharp communication skills and an ability to build outstanding client relationships
Specific experience in multi-channel and/or online marketing highly preferred. Experience in an online ad agency environment also a strong plus
Direct experience with data-intensive marketing analysis and consulting applications, including either primary or syndicated market research
Flexibility and ability to work fast under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements
Must be expert in all Microsoft Office applications and knowledgeable about the Internet
Experience in the Pharma/Health industry a plus
A desire to aggressively further business in an innovative, fast-paced and winning company
