You will be responsible for leading the full life cycle recruiting efforts for the technology talent needs of comScore, Inc., a global top 25 market research firm. You should have a strong understanding of new technologies, and be able to reach candidates using a variety of traditional and emerging recruitment methods. We need someone who will develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers and the company’s senior management to identify hiring needs and develop recruiting plans to identify, screen, offer, and negotiate with both active and passive job seekers. Additionally, you will partner with other key members of the Human Capital team to design and implement new recruiting strategies, as well as track and analyze key recruiting metrics and trends.
In the end, you’ll want to bring an agency-like mentality of speed, delivery and results to the corporate side, while focusing on the superior customer service that has always made you successful. By incorporating your industry expertise, you’ll help to recruit and hire the future leaders of comScore.
What You’ll Do Day to Day:
• Work with hiring managers and other key decision makers to identify staffing needs, position requirements and to achieve success in recruiting objectives. Build relationships with these groups by attending department meetings and working one on one with decision makers. Technology positions will range from database application developers and data analysts to software engineers at the entry level to VP and above.
• Establish and maintain aggressive pipeline of viable candidates for comScore’s technology organization, by developing networks around common skill sets that comScore hires
• Utilize online recruiting sources such as major and niche job boards, professional networking sites, user groups and list-serves, blogs, social media, and direct sourcing to identify and recruit qualified passive and active candidates.
Review applications and interview and screen applicants to assess their qualifications related to work history, education, training, job skills, and salary expectations and overall fit for the organization
• Stay abreast of new technologies and processes that are impacting our industry, including utilizing social media and direct sourcing methodologies, and working with Marketing where opportunities exist to implement branding strategies
• Develop, write, and edit job descriptions and coordinate design and placement of employment advertising to maximize effectiveness of company’s recruiting efforts
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations
• Stay current on new technologies, and processes that are impacting our industry, including utilizing social media and direct sourcing methodologies
• Perform reference and background checks for potential candidates
• Coordinate administrative tasks such as travel and lodging for out-of-town candidates, filing and maintenance of employment records, and various tasks as needed

BASIC FUNCTION:
Reporting to the SVP of Human Capital, the Recruiter will be responsible for leading the full life cycle recruiting efforts for comScore’s client facing divisions. The Recruiter will develop and maintain excellent relationships with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and develop recruiting plans to identify, screen, offer, and negotiate with both active and passive job seekers. The Recruiter will partner with other key members of the Human Capital team to design and implement new recruiting strategies and track and analyze key recruiting metrics and trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Work with hiring managers and other key decision makers to identify staffing needs, position requirements and to achieve success in recruiting objectives. Builds relationships with these groups by attending department meetings and working one on one with decision makers.
• Create and execute aggressive strategies for recruiting qualified active and passive candidates
• Utilize Internet online recruiting sources such as major and niche job boards, professional networking sites, user groups and list-serves, and direct sourcing to identify and recruit qualified candidates
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify qualified candidates including alumni groups, external recruiters and employment agencies, and other public and private organizations
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations
• In conjunction with hiring managers, develop, write, and edit job descriptions and coordinate design and placement of employment advertising to maximize effectiveness for the organization
• Review applications and interview and screen applicants to assess their qualifications related to work history, education, training, job skills, salary expectations and overall fit for the organization. Based on this information, makes recommendations to hiring managers for additional interviews or other potential fits within the organization.
• Work in conjunction with hiring managers and other key decision makers to negotiate offers of employment to potential candidates and coordinate all communication with candidates during the offer process
• Perform reference and background checks for potential candidates
• Coordinate administrative tasks such as travel and lodging for out-of-town candidates, filing and maintenance of employment records, and various tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4 year college degree in business, psychology, human resource management, communications, or other relevant field
• 3-5 years experience in full life cycle recruiting. Applicants with staffing industry, recruiting agency, or corporate recruiting experience strongly preferred.
• Must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task autonomously in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact with peers in a team-oriented operating structure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience recruiting in niche markets and industries strongly preferred
• Prior experience with an Internet-based company preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office, and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is required
