Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Reports To: Accounts Payable ManagerJob Summary
The Accounting clerk is responsible for Accounts Payable entries, entering cash receipts, and processing expense reports. We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in the Accounting field and is looking for the opportunity to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Receive, enter, code and request payment authorization for invoices on a daily basis
• Provide assistance with weekly check runs
• Enter cash receipts for multiple country codes on a daily basis.
• Process expense reports on a as needed basis
• Responsible for maintaining and updating multiple Excel spreadsheets in a timely and efficient manner
• Organize and maintain appropriate files, and access information from said files in a timely manner
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Accounting or Business or relevant work experience required
• A minimum of 1- 3 years experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within this particular field
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to perform in a high-growth, fast-paced, collaborative work environment
• Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
