Job Title: Data Analyst Syndicated Products
Location: Reston, VABASIC FUNCTION:
Dynamic Data Analyst role for proficient and dedicated person with experience in the analysis of internet data, coordinating production activities and progressing data quality initiatives to achieve the growth of our Syndicated product initiatives. This position will require heavy analysis and will have a major production function (QA responsibilities leading to the release of data).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading data investigations will require working across functional teams through resolution including final review with internal teams.
Lead (project management) cross-functional team with initiatives that improve the efficiency, consistency and quality of our products. Candidates must display strong follow-up skills.
Extract, transform and analyze data from corporate data warehouse (and other sources), analysis of data issues, investigate and report key findings.
May sometimes be required to interact directly with clients.
Define QA processes and checkpoints for the production process including inputs into the production process. Work with production resources within Engineering, Statistic Services, Dictionary Management and Operations to implement QA methods.
Adaptable person who can deal with rapidly changing requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 years of experience with data analysis, data quality investigation and issue resolution.
Strong analytic skills that include analysis of data collected from a large panel of internet users and the design of data quality methodologies.
Good Communication skills required to coordinate production team activities and keep processing moving forward.
Experience in data analysis and problem solving with large amounts of data
Experience with SQL Server a must. Especially hands-on coding from scratch.
Knowledge of relational databases and methods for efficiently retrieving data from them.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Social Sciences, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, etc.
Ability to autonomously multitask across projects.
Experience with Internet behavior data a MAJOR plus.
Must be a self-starter
