Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Responsible for the management, coordination and technical leadership of a software engineering team with a focus on providing robust and scalable solutions for an internal business unit.
• Highly involved in planning the roadmap of enhancements for the business unit including the full design and deployment of these enhancements.
Required Skills/Experience
• 2-4 years experience managing a software engineering team along with prior development experience a must.
• At least 4-6 years experience hands-on development using the .NET framework (C# or VB) prior to
• At least 4-6 years experience using SQL – able to write queries to extract data, perform joins and comfortable doing analysis of large datasets.
• Experience with data warehouse and relational database concepts.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience with Agile Development Methodology preferred.
• Experience managing several projects at once, of varying sizes.
• Focused self-starter with ability to effectively juggle and complete multiple tasks
• Strong diplomacy, coordination and communication skills (written and spoken), especially with respect to technical content
• Fast learner with willingness and ability to develop new disciplines and learn new technologies and skills quickly
• Ability to understand data processing, systems and interactions and offer solutions as part of a team
• Able to collaborate well across internal groups with diverse professionals
• Comfortable and committed to multi-tasking work in a small company environment
• Demonstrated effectiveness in providing leadership to multi-functional teams in a technical production environment
• Expertise and willingness to write formal system engineering specifications quickly
