    Product Analyst – Financial Services

    SUMMARY

    comScore, a global leader in measuring the digital world, is seeking a self-motivated, analytical professional as a Product Operations Analyst in the corporate headquarters in Reston, VA. We are looking for someone who thrives within a creative and flexible environment who has the skills to manipulate data, convey findings, and develop new and maintain current product offerings.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The CMS Operations Product Analyst within the Financial Services vertical will support team and organizational goals by providing industry knowledge, analytical thinking, and data manipulation. Working as part of the Custom Analytics department within the company, this individual will work hands-on with the panel-collected data to maintain data quality and analyze data trends. Core responsibilities of this position include:

    • Effectively understanding the business issues and data challenges of internal clients by providing data knowledge expertise and analysis, executing feasibility checks, and comprehending the data flow process.
    • Preserving quality data by implementing standard and independent QA processes, maintaining proprietary data collection programs, and resolving any data anomalies.
    • Successfully coordinating between multiple internal teams to create and fully realize a new product or suite of reports by leveraging current proprietary software and/or collected data, developing SQL scripts to process the data, and providing finalized reporting sheets.
    • Understanding core products by researching industry trends, knowing the base data used in all delivered reports, and keeping track of current and potential clients.

    Additional responsibilities may include managing lookup value tables, ensuring all data sources are working efficiently and all data is thoroughly QAed, helping to develop new data types and move reports into the internal reporting system.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Interest in the Financial Services field (Banking, Credit Cards, Insurance).
    • Medium analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Medium SQL skills including exposure to dynamic SQL.
    • Medium communication skills.
    • Flexible and able to work fast under tight deadlines with demanding quality requirements.
