Technical Lead - Mobile
Location: Reston, VA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will:
• Collaborate with product leadership on big picture objectives and on determining feasibility and timing of enhancements and new offerings for mobile reporting.
• Work proactively with product analytics on developing production systems and analytic tools, investigating data issues, and ensure data quality standards are met
• Provide engineering leadership to comScore’s suite of mobile products, and attend technology partner meetings and provide feasibility assessments where required
• Own and manage resources and workflow around all mobile technology initiatives
• Lead design and development to innovate our approach regarding mobile collection and insights –through carrier level data collection systems, new mobile analytic platforms, and/or new mobile collection methods
QUALIFICATIONS
• A confident engineering professional with a proven track record of leading teams of developers creating high quality software.
• Experience with the development of Linux and Windows applications using C and/or C++.
• Excellent oral, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• At least 5 - 7 years experience. Experience in an Agile / SCRUM development environment a plus.
• Experience mentoring junior and veteran staff.
• Proficiency managing large volume datasets and coding data aggregation and production processes.
• Understanding of business challenges within the mobile industry and passion to keep abreast of new mobile technologies and platforms.
• Understanding of data transactions occurring within a mobile operator environment a plus.
• Experience with the HTTP protocol and knowledge of TCP/IP networks and IP routing a plus.
