BASIC FUNCTION:
As the primary analytical support for the account team, the analyst plays several mission-critical roles, including managing our understanding of both our clients' database and individual initiative/project needs; providing expertise in research and analytical strategy and tactics; and being accountable in the delivery of comscoreARS services and products to the client.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Category research and consulting: provide value-added consulting to businesses by becoming an industry expert in select categories and regions.
• Project management: manage portfolio of ongoing research initiatives and special projects within a given category or categories, resulting in fulfillment of business customer needs. Owns key analytical process steps throughout the project lifecycle
• Relationship management: works with account management to understand client's marketing philosophy and strategic goals, target demographics/segmentation, etc.
• Reporting: compile data, synthesize information and communicate relevant points verbally and in written reports and presentations. Consistently delivers "80/20" analysis to account management team.
• Operations management: perform cross-functional task management and facilitate effective workflow between project and account management. Interface with the account and discipline leads to resolve project-related issues and escalate larger project issues as needed to upper management.

• Computer skills:
o Microsoft Office – Able to use MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word efficiently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and be self-directed
• Attention to detail and demonstration of commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills including an ability to “think outside the box”
• Flexible work schedule
PREFERRED:
• Elementary knowledge of market research
