    Title: Software Engineer
    Location: Reston, VA

What we Need you to be:
Everyone wants to work on a dynamic team in a great company. You want to work on a team that is doing more than the average group of developers. You want to change the landscape of the Internet. There is only one place you’ll be able to achieve what you’re looking for, comScore.

comScore, Inc .is seeking inventive and forward-thinking Software Engineers to develop systems in our Reston, VA headquarters. You will have an opportunity to work on all three tiers of development and broaden your skill set more every day, making you an invaluable asset to comScore.

Why this is Different from Every Other Software Engineering Role you see:
comScore’s Software Engineers are not “code monkeys” plastering bugged code everywhere. They are technically savvy problem-solvers that want the right solution the first time, every time. They are independent thinkers, who all have a passion for technology outside of their “9-5”, and like bouncing ideas off of each other. They also have a great deal of ownership, true ownership over the development work they do from design through inception. Your work affects almost every facet of comScore’s business from top to bottom.

    Your Day to Day Duties:
    • Participate in the requirements gathering, design and development of new systems to be incorporated into and improve the existing processing environment.
    • Develop enhancements to current solutions.
    • Guide group strategy and create action plans and goals.
    • Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies.
    • Exercise your expertise in the software development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of this system.
    • Collaborate with 3-4 team members to identify and implement project solutions.

    What is comScore?

Using its proprietary technology, comScore measures what matters across a broad spectrum of digital behavior and attitudes, helping clients design more powerful marketing strategies that deliver superior ROI.
