Title: Back-End Developer

comScore is looking for a Back-End Developer to join the team that designs and develops the back-end of our client-facing reporting platform. In this position you will be responsible for applying your C#, SQL, and general .NET skills in a fast-paced and highly-collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate also comes with general infrastructure development experience, knowledge of design patterns, and has created database-driven applications. We're looking for someone who will thrive in a challenging, creative, and fast paced work environment with iterative design and development cycles.
What you’ll do at comScore:
• Develop the infrastructure for our client-facing systems, focusing on performance, logical design, and maintainability.
• Work closely with other developers and product management to define and create new features and refine what already exists.
• Identify opportunities where technical solutions can be applied to improve process and productivity.
• Manage time effectively to accurately scope projects and ensure that projects are released on time.
What we expect of someone applying for this position:
• BS degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience designing and developing database-driven applications.
• Knowledge of the .NET environment using C#.
• Familiarity with design patterns and component-based architecture.
• Understanding of general optimization techniques and applications.
• Strong commitment to quality, architecture and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and team interaction skills.
