Job Title: Senior Analyst, Mobile

Reports To: Vice President, Mobile Europe
BASIC FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Vice President of Mobile, Europe, this Senior Analyst will take charge of the production of analyses and insight reports based on comScore’s mobile market intelligence and media measurement data both for internal use and against customer requirements. The role requires engagement with comScore’s top European companies in the mobile ecosystem including network operators, handset manufacturers, mobile content providers, publishers and mobile media agencies, amongst others. The Senior Analyst will prepare analyses, manage the content and delivery of syndicated products, assist in developing new products, and look for new opportunities to partner further with existing clients. The Senior Analyst will coordinate and deliver insight reports and custom projects tied to clients’ business goals and objectives. In addition, the Senior Analyst will extract, transform and analyse data from corporate databases in order to deliver strategic consulting services with an eye toward expanding revenue opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Produce comScore’s syndicated product, Mobile Advisor, on a monthly basis, including carrying out the necessary analysis and management of the team responsible for compiling the report
• Deliver custom analysis projects and reports to leading mobile industry clients whilst maintaining a sensitivity to the clients’ business objectives andgoals
• Analyse data from corporate databases in order to deliver strategic consulting services to existing clients based on client needs. Transform raw market intelligence data and form conclusions and devise stories and narratives which relate to mobile industry trends and developments.
• Upsell additional services and develop new products to meet client requirements
• Become expert in comScore syndicated products and custom market research capabilities in the mobile space
• Manage the team responsible for producing syndicated and custom reports for customers based on existing mobile product data
• Produce analysis for PR stories and create presentations for speaking engagements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Keen understanding and knowledge of the mobile industry and ecosystem, especially as it relates to Europe
• Previous client facing experience a must. Proven ability to independently engage with customers in understanding their requirements for custom reports and to present resulting analysis is critical.
• Bachelors degree in marketing, business, statistics or other quantitative field and 4-6 years of work experience strongly preferred. Work experience that is analytical in nature, such as experience with syndicated data, or custom research is important. Experience in financial analysis, market research, or analysing customer interactions on the web is a plus.
• Proven proficiency with numbers & superb analytical skills
• Excellent project management skills to juggle numerous projects and contacts concurrently
• Adaptable person who can deal with rapidly changing requirements of a start-up like environment
• Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal
• Proven ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships
• Experience determining customer requirements and coordinating with product development is a plus
• Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
• Ability to interact effectively with peers in a team-oriented operating structure
• Must be extremely proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
